School for Advanced Studies Applications 2010-2011

Students who do not reside within the attendance area for Frost MS and qualify for the SAS program must submit an application in May. Applications are available from May 3 - May 27, 2010.

Students attending an LAUSD school:

* Obtain an application from the current school
* Fill out the form and have the administrator/designee sign in the appropriate place
* Submit to Mrs. Tan, in the Assistant Principal's Office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. If Mrs. Tan is unavailable, please see Mrs. Lopez in the Counseling Office.
* Submit a copy of the letter of eligibility for GATE
* If your child is not state identified gifted, please submit the last two years of CST scores.
* Notification to parents will be mailed by June 11, 2010 and will include instructions for Fall Registration if the student has been accepted.

Students not attending an LAUSD school:

* Obtain an application at Frost MS from Mrs. Tan, in the Assistant Principal's Office.
* Fill out the form.
